    • Fundraising at Worthing High School

      Published 05/10/23

We had a brilliant start to our fundraising at Worthing High raising £246.34 with some incredibly creative cakes!

The fundraising doesn’t just happen at school. We want our students to host their own bake sales for friends, family and the community. Last year this external effort doubled our total for the event. Worthing High would like to celebrate your monumental efforts so please take photos of your cakes and events and email them to sdecourcy@worthinghigh.net so we can share your work to our twitter feed.

Please can all fundraising be sent in though wisepay or donated to the finance office in school.

      Thank you

      Cake sales and competitions:

Worthing High School’s charity events kick off this year, as usual, with the Macmillan Coffee Morning. As a school we would also like to support those who have been impacted by the destruction caused by the recent earthquakes in Morocco and the devastating floods in Libya. We will be raising money for both causes through our annual bake sale and competition.

We will be hosting a cake sale and competition. Please drop your cakes off at student services on the morning of Thursday 28 September. Please can all pre-packaged and home cooked cakes be brought to student services on the 28 September. These will then be sliced or separated and sold to raise money on Thursday lunch. Prices will vary between 20p and £1 per item.

      Star Baker Awards

We want to encourage our young bakers. Therefore we will also be running a best cake competition for each year group (and staff) Students will need to drop their entries to student services on the 28 September. Happy Baking!
