National Citizen Service (NCS) are giving Year 11 students an opportunity to engage with a 2-3 week programme designed especially for 16 and 17 year olds, during the summer break.
During the Summer Term local colleges will hold Taster Days for Year 10 students to have an opportunity to experience a flavour of that college to help students with their Post 16 options.

50 Year 10 students attended our first Saturday School on Saturday 8 May 2021.

As we continue our reintegration into school, following the lockdown, we must now start focusing on ensuring students are ready for GCSE examinations at the end of Year 11.
Year 7, 8 and 9 will sit a series of assessments throughout the fortnight w/b 7 June 2021. The purpose of these assessments is to use the results to help us identify any areas of need and support that might be emerging, so we are able to offer any appropriate support and plan effectively as we enter the next academic year.


I am delighted to announce that this year’s forensic club will be taking place over the summer term. During the club students will look at fingerprints and marks, hair and fibre analysis, blood spatter and analysis, entomology, foot prints and more. The final week will give the students an opportunity to work on a mocked up crime scene.
