Arrangements for GCSEs 2022
Arrangements for 2022 GCSEs - 25.11.21
As some of you might be aware, the Government have recently written an open letter to all year 11 students across the country. In the letter it sets out the plans for examinations in the summer. The letter also explains what the contingency plan is, should the impact of Covid-19 get to a point where summer examinations are not possible, in which case, students will received Teacher Assessed Grades (TAGs). The letter can be found here
To ensure students understand the content of this letter, they had an assembly this morning, which clarified the Government’s determination to run exams and what its contingency plans were. Our message to the Year 11s has not changed; we have reemphasised the need for hard work, to ensure they are exam ready, but also so they are in the best position possible, should teachers need to award them TAGs.
