Worthing High School

PE Update 18th March 2021

Just a reminder all PE lessons will currently take place outside until Easter due to indoor venues being used for testing.

Please can we ask on PE days students come to school in PE kit as normal however ensure they have a waterproof coat with them in case of light rain. Hoody’s are not allowed in school; students can instead wear the PE fleece, training top or their WHS Blazer when moving around the school.

We have seen a large number of students in leggings since returning to school.  Leggings are not part of the school uniform policy.  Students can wear plain black tracksuit trousers, the WHS skort or black shorts.  Year 7 students who started in September 2020 should be wearing the new branded WHS kit and students in year 8-11 can continue wearing the old style PE kit.  Should any items need replacing, students should only purchase the new kit items which can be purchased from our supplier in the normal manner.

Inter community events

These events will be running all this week and until the end of term.  Please do encourage your child to sign up.
