PE Inter Community Challenges and 20:21 Southern Area Challenge
Details of our online virtual inter community challenges – which have now started and the 20:21 Southern Area Challenge are below.
PHYSICAL EDUCATION
Beat the teacher.
Weekly online challenges will be set every Monday by 8am on SatchelOne (Show My Homework) and PE twitter page. This week’s challenge is the Trick Shot https://youtu.be/FD8k4jrVkq0
How to enter:
Please post results to Miss Field at mfield@worthinghigh.net by 12pm on Sunday or post your attempt up on our twitter account (check for parental permission first) at the end of each week before midday.
Point and merits:
As this is an Inter Community competition we will also be awarding points to each community at the end of the week:
1st = 25 points
2nd = 15 points
3rd = 10 points
4th = 5 points
Every student who takes part will receive 1 point for their community.
Individual Merits
We will also be awarding individuals for effort and overall position:
1st = 15 community merits
2nd = 10 community merits
3rd = 5 community merits
Taking part = 2 community merits

20:21 SOUTHERN AREA CHALLENGE
The partnership have launched the 20:21 challenge. This is a challenge to stay active for at least 20 minutes for 21 days between now and February half term. We have been launching this challenge in students’ lesson 2 PE lessons. All recording sheets have been uploaded to your child’s Teams folder.
As it’s a new year, your school in association with Southern Area Sport are challenging you to do 20 MINUTES of exercise for at least 21 days #2021, its simple:
CHOOSE YOUR EXERCISE (This could be Running, Cycling, Yoga, Walking, Fitness or specific sports exercises / activities).
CHOOSE YOUR LOCATION (This can be inside or outside however remain safe).
PARTICIPATE FOR AT LEAST 20 MINUTES each day (This can be done in split parts if you want too).
RECORD Your Daily Exercises.
ALL YOU NEED TO DO IS 20 MINUTES of exercise for at least 21 days.
Once you have done your #20/21 Share your efforts with your PE teachers to be awarded with a certificate and merits. Sheets need to be in before February half term.
