End of Autumn 1 - start of October half term

Message to all Year 7 students

YEAR 7 – MESSAGE FROM MR TOWNSEND

We hope you are all managing to stay safe and well during these unprecedented times.

We wanted to remind you that we are in this together and staff at Worthing High School are here to support you. Our tutor team are on hand if you have any questions or concerns and subject teachers are available to help with any issues relating to the completion of work. There is also an updated list of FAQ’s for parents on our school website https://www.worthinghigh.net/page/?title=Remote+Learning+FAQs&pid=199

This is also a good opportunity for me to introduce you to Mr Mashford who will be progress leader for your child as they transition into year 8 and Mr Fenlon who will be your child’s pastoral leader. Your tutor remains the primary contact for you and your child but both Mr Mashford and Mr Fenlon will be the additional contacts starting from Monday 8th June.

I am immensely proud of the Year 7s and what they have achieved this year and their response to the remote learning we find ourselves in at present. As we navigate our way through these times I would like to assure you that we have worked closely together as a group to ensure the transition in this virtual setting can take place as best as possible.

Stay safe,

Mr Townsend
