Recent PE achievements
Students have been competing in a range of different activities/sports. Below are some of the fantastic achievements over the last 2 weeks:
Athletics (indoor)
Year 7 – Boys 1st in District, through to Sussex Final/ Girls came 3rd
Year 8 – Boys 1st in District, through to Sussex Final/ Girls came 2nd
Badminton
KS3 Boys and Girls finished 1st and through to Sussex school games finals
KS4 Boys finished 3rd and Girls finished 6th
Cricket
U13 Boys Indoor cricket tournament finishing 3rd
U13 Girls Indoor cricket tournament finishing 3rd and 5th
Basketball
U14 Girls basketball through to Sussex Final (finished second in the District tournament this week)
Year 7 - Boys basketball won one, lost one this week
Year 7 - Girls District League winners
Year 8 - Boys won their basketball game last week
Year 10 - Boys basketball runners up this week
Cross Country
Year 7 Boys - 1st place
Year 8/9 -Boys - 1st place
Year 10/11 Boys – 1st place
Year 7 - Girls - 4th place
Year 8/9 Girls - 2nd place
Year 10/11 Girls - 2nd place
Football
Year 10 boys Football team beaten by great opposition in the quarter finals of the County Cup
Netball
Year 7 and 9 girl’s runners up in two very close games against Sion this week.
